So my first blog entry EVER!

My goal at the moment with this publication is to build a place where I can share my thoughts about my mission to be an EXPERT, if not PERFECT dad to my two children... along the way I hope being an equally good husband rises to the top... but we’ll see about that. All of it set in the suburbs.... New Jersey in this case, but should ideally appeal to all metro area suburban fathers.

Over time you will come to know me.. the challenges as I see them and the solutions on the road to being a good dad.. the most important job in the universe as I see it. Thoughts will likely cover a wide range of topics from those specifically focused on children, to my career, finances, political, DIY projects, etc...

For now I will keep the details about who I am private until I better understand what's actually involved in the process.

The focus of this PAST weekend was of course DIY, getting my home to being my "castle."

Installed a basement sink - DONE
Installed a water softener.. wife did not like the way here hair was left once it dried given the hardness of the suburban water. DONE
Found a leak during my sink installation from the bathroom my wife uses to take those showers that leaves her hair hard.... so fixing this leak became another project which I am currently in the midst of executing.

Gotta run to work now... so more later on... but hope you have somewhat liked the first posting.
